Introduction
QTExportAction is an Automator Action that converts movie files to other formats. It uses applescript to control QuickTime Pro to make the conversions. Soon a new version will be available that uses ffmpeg for Mac OS X.
New formats will include flv, divx and xvid. Check back soon.
The qtexport Automator action has the following inputs and outputs.
Inputs: This action accepts files types as input.
Outputs: The action returns the inputs as outputs. Because the output is the same as the input, it is possible to chain this action to itself so that the original videos can be exported to multiple formats.
Features: Any movie files passed to this action will be exported to the chosen video, image, or audio format. The generated files will be stored in the folder specified by the workflow author.
